Evolution of UVERcd Cover Art

aka “Remember when UVERchan was on the cover of all UVERcds?”

First we had D-tecnoLife. Aw, so cute.

Then Chance. D’awh

Just Melody. Do these guys have faces?

Timeless. Really expected faces on the first album. Tch. BUT UVER! 8)

And then OH MY GOD SUDDENLY! Colors of the Heart!

And we were like WTF MAN GIVE US FACES! WHAT IS THIS EVEN?! UVERchan YOU ARE NOW A MONKEY? but MAN THIS IS LIKE GORILLAZ ART WHICH TOTALLY BITCHIN AWESOME SO COOL UVERworld RULES OMG YES YES COTH!

Then they teased us more with Shamrock

And we got used to seeing illustrated covers and so we were just like okay that’s fine do what you want because YOU GUYS ARE PERFECT!!!!11!

Then OUT OF THE BLUE COMES KIMI NO SUKI NA UTA

OMGKSJDFHSKLJFH PEOPLE! FACeS13*UFW*! but WTF DIM LIGHTING 8( UVERchan are you a crow now?

BUT THE LE WITH THE TOUR DOCUMENT WAS ILLUSTRATED

So unless you got the regular version you were stuck with GORRILAZworld again.

Then BUGGY came out and we were all YAYAYA FACES AGAIN SKDFJSLKFJSLKF but OH MY GOD STOP WITH THE DIM LIGHTING AND BITCH IF YOU KILL TAKUYA I WILL HAUNT YOU.

Then there was the LE again. -__-

And that was the end of GORILLAZworld. After that we got AWESOME WELL-LIT COVERS FROM ENDSCAPE. And then there was Shaka Beach. Which was a shoe.

Then life was pretty normal and awesome with Ukiyo Crossing. Then Proglution??

And then we could say ‘our band is better than yours because our lead singer/mastermind is a werewolf!’

Then the covers were normal again with faces and UVER and life was wonderful again until GO-ON, when UVER became logo-obsessed and the next 5 album/single covers were their logo. Which is really awesome (the logo is). It even got incorporated into a tree!

Then again, normal awesome covers! Life6Sense was AWESOME they managed to do TWO THINGS AT ONCE! They got the boys AND a 3D, real-life, really awesome sphere of the logo! They should have thrown in UVERchan, too ^^ for old time’s sake.

Then… we got Baby Born & Go/Kinjito which was AWESOME! Simple but GOOD

Unless you bought the LE and then you got a bird and the logo

Which, I guess that’s cool too. HOWEVER. I am happy that 7th Trigger is one of those happy normal covers… for both regular and LE.

Except Takuya seems to like flirting with danger.

WHAT WILL BE NEXT I WONDER? I can’t wait to see. I have to admit though, as hopeful as I was in the beginning for faces, I kinda want to see UVERchan again. I miss that little monster. :’D
